About me
I’m Andrea and I’m an experienced BACP registered counsellor with a first class degree in Integrative-Relational Counselling. I offer a friendly and approachable counselling service to adults and young people in the Leatherhead area.
I have worked as an NHS counsellor and for a well-established voluntary counselling agency in Surrey.
I also spent a year as a school counsellor in a primary school setting whilst working towards a Level 4 Certificate in Counselling Children.
I have experience of working with men and women of all ages, on a wide range of issues and difficulties including feelings of stress, anxiety and depression, family worries, separation and divorce and low esteem. I offer therapy arrangements based around your individual needs.
My approach
I believe that much of our emotional difficulty is linked to early life experience and that by working with a trained professional, to explore and understand this, we can free ourselves from negative patterns of thought and behaviour and open up the possibility for greater self-acceptance and an increased capacity to form mature, intimate and meaningful relationships.
At an initial consultation, you can let me know what is going on in your life at the moment and why you are thinking about starting therapy. It is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and see if you would feel comfortable working with me.
Fees and appointments
I work from an office at home and a parking space will be available for you on the driveway.
I offer an initial 60 minute consultation at a discounted fee of £25
Regular appointments:
£45 per 50min session - Weekdays (10am - 5pm)
£55 per 50 min session - Evenings and weekends
Discounted rates available for students or those on low income on weekdays 10am - 2pm
